My interdisciplinary disposition from my research extends into my teaching of interdisciplinary students. Regardless of their major, my students learn the important role language, visual and verbal, has within their academic, personal and civic environments.

Within all of my courses I enjoy challenging my students and myself by developing creative, engaging and thought provoking assignments that allow students to see the seemingly abstract rhetorical theory concepts we discuss in class in practice in their everyday lives.
